Quick and Easy Makeup Routine
1. Brow Pencil
A brow pencil is the quickest way to frame your face and instantly look more awake. I lightly fill in sparse areas, then use the spoolie to blend for a natural finish. This e.l.f. pencil works just as well as Anastasia, and I’ve repurchased it at least five times!
2. Eyelash Curler
I always curl my lashes—it's a non-negotiable step in my morning makeup routine. Instantly, I look more awake.
3. Sunscreen
If I could only use one product in the morning, it would be sunscreen. This one adds a hint of glow and doubles as a primer under makeup. I currently use it daily, but I’ve also used Sun Bum and loved it just as much (plus, it’s a little less expensive).
4. Tinted Serum
For everyday wear, I prefer lightweight tinted serums or lotions instead of heavy foundations. They even out my skin tone while still looking like skin. I just started using this one and LOVE it! It’s just as good (if not better!) than others I’ve used from Make Up For Ever, Saie, and Hourglass.
5. Concealer
Lightweight, non-creasing, with great coverage that blends seamlessly. This is my third time purchasing it, and it's a must-have for a quick makeup routine!
6. Cream Blush
A cream blush gives the most natural flush, and this one blends like a dream. I love this so much; I have this in three colors!
7. Mascara
Mascara is my ride-or-die product. I’ve been using this one for an embarrassingly long time, and no matter how many others I try, I always come back to it. If they ever stop making it, I’ll be lost!
8. Lip Liner
This lip liner is so natural, and I love that it’s twist-up, so I never have to sharpen it. I keep one in my makeup drawer and another in my handbag, so I’m never without it.
Why I Love This Routine
This quick, natural 10-minute makeup routine is easy to do. It doesn’t require a ton of products or skill and is perfect for busy moms. Whether I’m working from home, running errands, or in carpool, I feel more confident and pulled together in just 10 minutes.
Embracing Imperfections
Life can be chaotic, and sometimes, we don’t have time for a full glam session. That’s why I love this routine. It’s all about embracing our real-life imperfections while still feeling fabulous. Remember, it’s not about perfection; it’s about feeling good in your skin.
The Power of a Good Routine
Having a consistent routine can make a world of difference. It sets the tone for the day and gives me a moment of self-care. I encourage you to find a routine that works for you. It doesn’t have to be complicated. Just a few minutes each morning can boost your confidence and mood.
